Our Story

From Zee's family recipes to Manchester's favourite morning table

Asian Delight started the way all the best food does — in a family kitchen. Owner Zeeshan "Zee" Khan grew up on Sunday halwa puri made by his grandmother in Lahore, and opened Asian Delight on High Lane Street with one simple mission: serve Manchester the desi breakfast he missed, made the proper way, from scratch, every single morning.

Our nihari simmers overnight. Our puris are rolled and fried to order. Our lassi is churned fresh and our chai is brewed strong the doodh-patti way. Nothing from a packet, nothing rushed. That's why neighbours, students, taxi drivers and whole families queue up every weekend — and why we're proud to be the community's most-loved Asian takeaway.

Breakfast is served until 11am. After that, the grills and karahis stay hot with curries, biryanis, rolls and street food until 10pm. One shop, two moods, all-day flavour.
